Community Development for Older People

As people get older and retire, they are more likely to spend more of their time in their homes or immediate neighbourhood. It is therefore important for these neighbourhoods to be vibrant places with a wide range of social and cultural activities and opportunities for engagement. In areas where this currently does not exist, community development is an important process where community members come together to take collective action and generate solutions to common problems.

These are the projects we have already commissioned which will be publicly launched by the organisations over the coming months:
