Training on reaching and engaging older people who are LGBT+

Location: The Gatehouse Centre, Hareclive Road, Bristol, BS13 9JN
Time: 10:00 - 13.30 and 13:00 - 16:30

This training is open to staff and volunteers within BAB-funded projects. The training will run twice on Tuesday 26th February and on Wednesday 13th March, (no need to attend both sessions). This training is being run by the Diversity Trust. 

Learning objectives:

  • Trainees are equipped to reach more older people who identify as LGBT+
  • Trainees complete the training with a clear idea on how to adapt their delivery when working with older people who identify as LGBT+ in order to be inclusive and welcoming
  • Trainees develop their asset-based practice when working in communities

Please be aware the training sessions are at diffrent times. On 26th February it is from 10:00 - 13:30 and on 13th March it is from 13:00 – 16:30.
