Who We Are
BAB is a partnership of individuals and organisations working together to reduce isolation and loneliness among older people in Bristol.
The BAB programme, along with the 13 other areas funded as part of the National Lottery Community Fund’s Ageing Better: Fulfilling Lives programme, uses a Test and Learn approach. The basic idea of ‘Test and Learn’ is solving a challenge and finding a solution through trial and error. In this section we'll be sharing the learning gathered from across the BAB programme.
Our Learning Digests are bite-sized pieces of learning on a range of different topics. These are a great resource for anyone looking to run projects or activities tackling isolation and loneliness.
Our Learning Reports explore the learning we have gathered in more detail and are great for those with a specific interest in that area.

Join the Learning Update
We also share learning with the partnership in a monthly Learning Update email. If you'd like to be added to the list and receive future Learning Updates, please sign up here.
BAB is funded by the National Lottery Community Fund to develop and deliver a programme that identifies the best ways of reducing the isolation and loneliness of older people.
