Age Friendly City Conference: Feedback

19 Nov 2015

Age Friendly Conference

On 7th October 2015, members of the voluntary and public sectors and citizens from different Bristol communities came together at M Shed to discuss how to make Bristol an age-friendly city.

Speakers from Bristol Ageing Better, Bristol City Council, Positive Ageing Associates and Happy City provided an insightful overview of the requirements of an age-friendly city, and the afternoon's workshops were a great opportunity for everyone to make their voice heard on the key aspects.

Please find below a report summarising day's learning, as well as the draft baseline assessment created by Bristol City Council. The latter inform the 3-5 year city-wide action plan to get Bristol to meet the requirements for age-friendly city status.
