All Aboard is recruiting a Project Coordinator

16 Feb 2018

All Aboard Watersports was funded by Bristol Ageing Better at our last round of commissioning, to deliver two services which are designed to reduce loneliness and social isolation in people aged 50+. Now the charity is recruiting for a full time member of staff to run the projects.

The organisation strives to make it possible for everyone in the community to join in a range of watersports and water related activities in the beautiful and historic Bristol City Docks. That includes people with physical, emotional or cognitive disabilities or those who would otherwise, for whatever reason, feel that there were barriers to their participation.

If you're interested in applying for the new BAB-funded role, you can find a job description below, and direct any queries about the role to Nicola Murdoch at

Project Coordinator
(38 HOURS PER WEEK, £19,670 PA)

We’re looking for a positive, motivated and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at All-Aboard Watersports.

You will be required to coordinate the successful delivery of two projects aimed at reducing social isolation in the over 50’s.  One project focuses on physical activity and the other is an intergenerational boat building project.  The projects will be delivered across Bristol and have been funded through Bristol Ageing Better’s Big Lottery funded ‘Fulfilling Lives: Ageing Better’ programme.

The post will involve coordinating, monitoring and reporting on the work of project delivery partners, the recruitment of participants, supporting volunteers and maintaining strong working relationships with partners, funders and the wider 50+ community.

You will have experience of working with older people with a confident and positive approach to handling interaction with others, excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of organisational and coordination skills.

Closing Date: Midnight Thursday 14th March 2018
