BAB Head of Programme
Full time – 35 hours per week
Fixed Term: 1 year (maternity cover)
Bristol Ageing Better (BAB) is a partnership of organisations and individuals working together to reduce isolation and loneliness amongst older people across Bristol. The partnership is led by Age UK Bristol and our main focus is now on securing outcomes, evaluation, dissemination of our learning and partnership working.
We are looking to recruit a motivated person who is an effective communicator with excellent relationship management skills to lead the BAB Programme. Our objectives are already set – we need someone who can implement the plan for year 5 of the programme and work well with a wide range of organisations and individuals.
The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the Programme, be skilled in people management, have a strong appreciation of the impact of social isolation on older people and will be an experienced programme manager. They will also be able to create an environment in which our partners feel supported in delivering effective services, share their knowledge of what works and deliver meaningful outcomes for isolated and lonely older people.

The post holder will be line managed by the CEO of Age UK Bristol.
