Join the Older People's Steering Group!

19 Oct 2016

We are currently looking for some enthusiastic older people with an eye for spotting great ideas to join our Older People’s Steering Group.

As a programme aiming to reduce isolation and loneliness of people over 50, it is incredibly important that BAB is led by older people, and that they are given a say in commissioning processes and in identifying barriers to people accessing BAB services. The Older People’s Steering Group (OPSG) are a vital part of the BAB Programme, ensuring that older people are integral to decision-making and that barriers to older people accessing BAB services are identified.

If you're passionate about improving the lives of older people in Bristol and would like a chance to get involved in commissioning services which aim to tackle isolation and loneliness, we would love to meet you!

If you're interested in the role, please RSVP for our information day on Tuesday 1st November at 2:00 at our offices in Canningford House on Victoria Street. You can RSVP via this link: Eventbrite - BAB Steering Group Information Day

If you are interested but cannot make the event, please email biancarossetti@ageukbristol.org.uk and we can arrange another time for you to pop in and chat about the role.
