Are you looking for a new challenge for 2017? Become a Wellbeing Champion in the new year and help us and Happy City make of Bristol an even better place to grow old.
Wellbeing champions make a difference by getting people talking about ways to wellbeing and happiness. They encourage people to share their great ideas for wellbeing in older age, and inspire people with examples of their own.
Happy City, a charity set up in Bristol to improve lives through a focus on happiness, have been funded by Bristol Ageing Better to provide a free 2-day course on how to introduce the 5 ways to wellbeing in your community and become a Wellbeing Champion. The Happy City Wellbeing Champions programme allows older people to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to share the 5 ways to wellbeing for positive ageing. Older people attending will have a chance to explore, understand and practice how best to share the 5 ways to wellbeing locally, and furthermore will receive the necessary support to apply the learning.
There are limited FREE places, so if you'd like to take advantage of this amazing opportunity, or know someone who could, please either apply here Application Form or if you would like further information, please call or email Rachel on 07474 408024 / email@example.com.
